The holiday season is different in Florida. Decorations and beautiful light displays are popping up all over, Christmas tunes abound and stores are crowded with shoppers. What isn’t visible, not a flake, puff or whiff, is snow. Relocated northerners don’t mourn the loss of the white stuff, even though green palm trees at the holidays do seem an oddity. Floridians have a sense of humor though, about the whole thing, and enjoy a warm Florida Christmas just as much as a northern, sit by the fireplace kind of celebration. Here at Sandalfoot we are preparing for the season. Already there are tiny white icicle lights on the office roofline and one side of the building sports a shiny wreath.
