One of the top attractions for visitors to our Islands is the Francis P. Bailey, Jr. Visitor Center at the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce. The Visitor Center is highly ranked on Trip Advisor for a “must-do” stop, especially to get helpful ideas for each and every stay. Stop in before you go anywhere
The friendly staff had all kinds of information to share. From shelling to the lighthouse, where to stay, etc. they were very helpful, even gave information I didn’t think about asking. Great team. Date of experience: February 2019
The Visitor Center is open 365 days a year and is staffed by outstanding professionals who volunteer at the Center year after year. It is certified by Visit Florida as a Certified Tourism Information Center. In addition to the outstanding staff, the Visitor Center also provides a wealth of information including:

- Digital screens that provide information about members
- Free WiFi and telephones at the visitor center
- Complimentary kiosks for online access to members
- Free charging station for smart phones and tablets

- Complimentary 118 page Visitor Guide and business directory
Late last year, the Visitor Center opened after an extensive remodel and the newly designed space features updated technology with interactive exhibits and better utilized floor-space.
