Luminary Festival 2014

Sandalfoot Beachfront Condominium was delighted to be a Bronze Sponsor of this year’s Luminary Festival. Over two nights, Sanibel and Captiva are illuminated with candlelight and Sanibel’s 22 miles of bike trails are adorned with candles. Conscientious volunteers put the candles in place, light them at dark, and then remove them when the Festival is over. A highlight of the holiday season, Luminary is attended by residents and visitors alike. Friendships are made or rekindled as restaurants and businesses open their doors to the happy crowds. Santa (pictured here with a helper and a fan) visited with young and old at four trolley stops along Periwinkle Way, including Bailey’s General Store. Sandalfoot is proud to be part of this much-anticipated community festival and honored to be part of the unique fabric of Sanibel.
