Island Wine Society – Happy Hour With Bailey’s

Mark your calendars for January 25^th at the Community House for a unique wine-tasting event. The wine tasting will feature wines from the William Hill Estate Winery. The winery is located overlooking the Napa Valley in California and has been producing extraordinary wine since 1976. The vineyard was developed by vintner and grower William Hill and crafts Chardonnay and Bordeaux varietal wines.

With nearly 40 years of experience growing grapes in California, they have used their expertise, knowledge and instinct to deliver extraordinary fruit that showcases the distinctive characteristics of the Napa Valley. Bailey’s is thrilled to host this exciting event which will include complementary food pairings for each wine. Wines for tasting will include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon labels. There is no charge to attend this event. To rsvp, email cjohnson@bailey’s-sanibel.com. January 25^th is not the only event wine connoisseurs can look forward to on Sanibel. Wines One with Tom Uhler is a three-week series being held at the Community House at 7 pm on February 2^nd, 9^th and 23^rd. Host Tom Uhler will present the basics of tasting, enjoying and appreciating all kinds of wines. Guests will taste over 20 classic wines along with food pairings provided by Sanibel Catering Company by Bailey’s. Reservations for this series should be made before January 28^th.
