The Naples Botanical Gardens was founded in 1993 by a group of eight Naples residents ‘with nothing more than the dream of creating a world-class botanical garden.’ In 2000, a gift from the Kapnick Family allowed the gardens to purchase a 170-acre site just south of Old Naples. In June 2008, the Garden began the transformation that is now known as “Gardens with Latitude.” Contained within the 2.5 miles of walking trails and 90-acres of restored native preserve are six cultivated gardens, 2.5 miles of walking trails. Programs and lectures are held for children of all ages. A must see and do! Located on 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples FL 34112. For more information, please call 239-643-7275.
