SANDALFOOT “OPEN BEACHES” GUARANTEE:  In the unlikely event that during your stay at Sandalfoot Beachfront Condominium the beaches of Sanibel are officially closed by Federal, State, or Local authorities and you wish to leave, you will be entitled to a prorated refund for the remaining nights of your reservation. If the official closure takes place within 2 weeks of arrival, you will be entitled to a full refund of your deposit if you wish. If the official closure takes place between 14 and 60 days of your scheduled arrival, you may apply your rental deposit fees to any other available date over the next 2 years without penalty.

WEEKLY RATES: Our rates are based on two (2) persons occupying a one-bedroom and four (4) persons occupying a two-bedroom. Each additional person (maximum of two) may incur a one-time charge of $50 off season and $100 during peak periods.

PLEASE NOTE: During peak periods, vacation rentals are available for a minimum of 7 nights with a Saturday-to-Saturday scheduled arrival and departure. During lower periods, we require a four-night minimum stay.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Guest(s) agrees not to exceed maximum occupancy set for each unit. Sanibel Fire Code permits up to Six (6) people in a two-bedroom and Four (4) people in a one-bedroom. However, each owner may further restrict these occupancy limits.

TO CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION: A minimum deposit of 25% of the total rent plus tax and the non refundable $50 Administrative Fee plus tax is required when making your reservation. However, if your arrival date is less than 30 days in advance, payment would be required in full when making your reservation.

FINAL PAYMENTS: The final payment must be received 30 days prior to arrival. We accept: E-Checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express. Any interest is retained by Sandalfoot.


SUBSTITUTIONS: Should your confirmed unit become unavailable for any reason, Sandalfoot Beachfront Condominium reserves the right to substitute comparable accommodations at a comparable rate; however, you as the guest receive full refund with no penalty if substitution is refused.

DISCOUNT FOR LENGTH OF STAY: 5% on four weeks or more, 8% on eight weeks or more, or 10% on 12 weeks or more.

CANCELLATION NOTICE: ALL cancellations forfeit the Administrative Fee (currently $50) plus any applicable taxes. Written notice of cancellation received 60 days prior to arrival is required for a full refund and 31-59 days written notice for 50% refund. Cancellations received 30 days or less forfeits the full reservation amount. All refunds are less the administrative fee, taxes and appropriate refunds will be processed in the same manner in which payment was received.

Travel Insurance is available for an additional fee (see below). Coverage includes trip cancellation, interruption or delay of your Sandalfoot Beachfront Condominium vacation (airfare is not included).

OPTIONAL TRIP INTERRUPTION/CANCELLATION INSURANCE AVAILABLE – PROTECT YOUR VACATION INVESTMENT FROM THE UNFORESEEN: CSA Travel Protection Insurance is available to Sandalfoot Condominium guests up to the time of full payment. Insurance is based on 7.25% of your reservation. Guests assume full responsibility in acceptance or decline of this protection coverage. CHECK IN TIME: Any time after 3:00 PM

AFTER-HOURS CHECK IN: While our regular office hours are Monday-Saturday, 9AM-5PM, they are subject to change.  Guests arriving after-hours are provided with a key to their reserved unit, which will be placed in a locked drop box to the right of the Front Office entrance door.  Codes to the combination are only provided to guests who have fully paid for their reservation in advance, according to our policies.

LATE CHECKOUTS: These can only be confirmed through the Front Office the morning of your scheduled departure, are subject to an additional fee and are not available during peak periods, holidays or other blackout periods.

NOISE & DISTURBANCES: Televisions and radios should be kept at an appropriate volume at all times. Instrument playing is prohibited.  Should authorities need to be called out due to guest(s) disturbance, violating guest(s) will be asked to vacate the premises immediately.

BREATHE EASY, SANDALFOOT IS SMOKE-FREE: For everyone’s enjoyment, smoking is not allowed inside the condos, lanais, building walkways or at the pool.  You may smoke away from the buildings in the grassy areas, parking lots, or on the beach.  A minimum additional cleaning charge of $300 will be assessed for smoking in the condos and lanais.

CONDOMINIUM ASSOCIATION RULES & REGULATIONS: Your unit is confirmed with the understanding that each guest in your party will observe and abide by the General Rules & Regulations provided. Each unit is supplied with a Unit Guest Book with Rules & Regulations.

DAMAGES: Guest agrees to assume responsibility of the unit during their stay and report any damages to the office immediately.  Guest(s) and visitors will be held responsible for any destruction they may cause to Sandalfoot property including the interior and furnishings of the condominium they occupy.

PERSONAL ITEMS: Sandalfoot Management Team and/or Owners are not responsible for any theft or loss of personal items left on Sandalfoot Condominium property.

PARKING: Permit(s) will be issued upon check-in and must be displayed on vehicle(s) rear view mirror. Parking is limited to One (1) assigned space per unitDuring peak rental periods, extra spaces may not be available.  There is NO PARKING available for RV’S, motor homes, boats, trailers, jet skis, canoes, kayaks, or similar vehicles at Sandalfoot.

NEW POLICY:  Daytime visitors are allowed on a very limited basis and must be pre-approved by the front office.  This is to prevent overcrowding at the pool, tennis court, shuffleboard and BBQ grills which are first and foremost for the use and enjoyment of our registered guests.  Daytime visitors not pre-approved by the office will be considered to be trespassing.  Parking is also limited and all vehicles must display a parking permit.  Vehicles without parking permits will be subject to towing without further notice at the vehicle operator’s expense.   Employees will make random checks throughout the day to determine if there are unauthorized visitors and/or vehicles on the property and the above policies will be enforced.
